Ms. Angella Akol Florence is a skilled communicator with exceptional capacity to maintain cultural sensitivity, establish rapport with members of diverse groups and promote team cohesiveness. Highly organized and independent; able to effectively coordinate tasks to accomplish projects with timeliness and creativity. Great meeting planning and facilitation skills, able to communicate effectively with all organizational levels, build relationships of trust and enlist the participation of team members. This may be partly explained by the fact that she is resourceful, dynamic and a believer of customer satisfaction being the best business strategy.
While working as an Administrative Assistant for the Indian Association of Uganda between 2016 and 2017, Ms. Angella Akol Florence was so instrumental in streamlining work systems and the resultant efficiency that followed as she ensured appropriate administrative policy, procedures and practices are followed in accordance with the Operational Manual, monitored the flow of financial, administrative information to ensure accurate and timely monthly financial reports are submitted to the management team and to regularly update the Team Leaders on the financial status of their respective projects, ensure safe custody of c ash, cheques and any other asset assigned to administration department, review and verify payments request coming from Team Leaders and their supporting document for accuracy, legality and compliance to Organization’s and stakeholder (donor) policies and procedures in accordance with the Operational Manual as well as ensure the update of books of accounts and records of all expenditures and revenues.
As the Senior Customer Experience Partner at Maersk Agency Uganda Limited (a Logistics firm) for the more than 4 years now, Angella is recognized for delivering a positive customer experience and ensure a smooth execution of the shipment cycle by working closely with the customer and internal teams. Throughout those years, she has also delivered an outstanding performance in customer acquisition, retention, general relationship management, and repeat purchases by identifying key trends driving customer retention, customer satisfaction, new business opportunities, customer experience and other core factors influencing customer retention among diverse segments. She demonstrated superior talent in managing consumer experience through a focus on superior customer service and achievement of customer satisfaction goals.
Angella is consistently pursuing a developing career in Business Administration and she has proven ability to develop new skills quickly and efficiently when required and the drive and determination to perform to the best of her abilities. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Uganda Management Institute, Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies from Kyambogo University, in Kampala Uganda and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education from Wanyange Girls School. As far as Usuk Homelands Limited operations is concerned, she is actively participating is adhering to the company’s compliance and carrying out advocacy and visibility of the organization. She is involved is seeking for partnership and collaboration on business relationships.
