Mr. John Bosco Ongorok – Operations Manager,
John is an Agile, widely exposed, experienced and extremely versatile site management professional who has delivered excellent results on various full site management projects either as a contributor, advisor or provider of end to end site management services for residential or commercial properties of all sizes. It is vital to note that John has practical experience in developing partnerships and relationships which have given organisations long term value from customers and markets.
Mr. Ongorok John Bosco Kuffor is the Operations Manager of Usuk Home Lands Limited and is in charge of providing inspired leadership for the operation of one of Usuk Home Lands, which involves making important policy and strategic decisions, as well as the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. He also assists our Human Resources function with recruiting, when necessary, and help promote a company culture that encourages morale and performance. In addition, he is responsible for building alliances and partnerships with other organizations, supporting worker communication with the management team, working with the management team to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals and well as developing, implementing, and reviewing operational policies and procedures.
Over the last four years of active site management assignments, Mr. Ongorok John Bosco Kuffor prides in his ability to effectively manage stakeholder interests, proper tracking of key deliverables including adherence to standard operating procedures, service level agreements and turnaround times. He demonstrated excellent ability to identify risks and profile them according to potential impact (low, medium and high), recommend remedial action and has a special ability to identify different opportunities which have the potential of facilitating the success of any site project.
While managing site projects of different scales, he demonstrates sound knowledge of equal employment opportunity policies and practices, exceptional ability to identify individual staff strengths, development and training needs and is very famous among his contemporaries for effective utilization of project resources to deliver site projects with no downtime. This is facilitated by his great persuasion skills, quality assurance management skills, negotiations skills and uncommon ability to anticipate, determine and recommend appropriate labour force, required site materials based on magnitude and scale of the project as well as equipment needs for the site project.
John has worked with Ugasa as the Lead Site Supervisor to inspect any work in progress to ensure that it’s up to standard, manage stakeholder interests, report on site work progress to management and recommend remedial actions where necessary as well as key account management function. On behalf of Ugasa Coatings, he has been instrumental in the company’s business relationships with Kabira Country Club, Bank of Uganda Currency Centers, National Water, Crested Towers, NSSF Building, Commercial Court, American Embassy Kampala, Bujagali Hydro Power Project, Bank of Uganda Mbarara, Auditor General’s Office Mbale and Jinja.
Mr. Ongorok John Bosco Kuffor holds a BSC in Project Management from Ndejje University, Kampala (Uganda), Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Business Management, Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education from Bethany High School in Kampala, Uganda.
